Tech Run

1.27 Mile Technical Run This leg of the race has the teams running on a single track trail, part of which they previously rode their bikes on. They will essentially go around the base of a small hill protruding out of the landscape and return to the transition area and again have their times recorded on the remote computer system. Note that teams which have not completed this leg by 4:30 PM will be disqualified and required to return to base camp via pickup trucks. This is because they will not have enough time to complete the rest of the course in the daylight hours.
